Collegiate Shortlisted for School of the Year Award

We are thrilled to share the exciting news that Collegiate has been shortlisted for the coveted title of Regional Independent School of the Year (South).

The Independent Schools of the Year Awards are designed to give independent schools an opportunity to celebrate and showcase their extraordinary achievements, and 2025 has been no exception.

Chair of the judging panel, Dr Helen Wright, said: “Reading through this year’s entries, the judges have been particularly struck by the resilience and determination shown by the UK independent schools’ sector.

“Independent schools across the world, it is clear, are working harder than ever to ensure that their students – and the whole community – will develop into well-rounded human global citizens who are able to make the most of their own skills in order to contribute positively to humanity.”

For Collegiate – already recognised as the number one school for added value in the Sixth Form across the whole of Bristol and South Gloucestershire – this nomination is testament to another year of our pupils working hard, playing hard, and being kind.

Collegiate Head, Mr Jeremy McCullough, said: “We are all delighted that the hard work of staff, the resilience of parents and the terrific spirit of our students is again being recognised. As our message says: We are Collegiate - and school, students and home have continued to collaborate together to provide incredible opportunities for our young people.”
